Allen County Democratic Party to Hold Annual Jefferson Jackson Dinner
Local Party’s largest annual fundraising dinner on track to sell out.

(November 16, 2013) – The Allen County Democratic Party’s annual Jefferson Jackson Dinner will be held Friday, November 22, 2013 at Ceruti’s Reception Hall, 6601 Innovation Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN, beginning at 5:30.

This year’s event presents US Senator Joe Donnelly, IN Superintendent of Public Instruction Glenda Ritz and Fort Wayne Mayor Tom Henry as featured speakers. The evening includes musical entertainment by Mike Conley, dinner and an extensive offering of silent auction items.

The 2013 event falls on the 50th anniversary of President John Kennedy’s assassination and the group will pay tribute to the late president with a video presentation.

Allen County Democratic Party (ACDP) Chairman John Court announced record tickets sales and said the event is widely expected to sell out. More than 350 tickets have already been purchased.

“This is a special night when Democrats come together to celebrate our Party, our elected officials and our candidates”, said Chairman Court “and this year we also celebrate the tremendous revitalization and forward momentum of our local Party”. He noted the excitement of Party members to hear these outstanding public servants, Donnelly, Ritz and Henry, during this fun and highly anticipated event. “We couldn’t be happier that these speakers are devoted to the efforts of the Allen County Democratic Party and will be here to share this wonderful evening”.

A limited number of tickets are still available and can be purchased through the website www.allencountydemocrats.org or by calling Party HQ at 260-478-8239.
