AEP work to Restrict Lanes on Northbound US 27 in Fort Wayne starting Monday, November 18
Work is on Spy Run Avenue, north of downtown

(November 15, 2013) – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces that starting Monday, November 18, US 27/Spy Run Avenue will have intermittent nighttime restrictions north of downtown, between Superior Street and State Boulevard, due to electrical cable work, which must be accessed via roadway manholes. AEP/Indiana Michigan Power is handling the work under permit by INDOT. The intermittent restrictions will take place between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. nightly, weather permitting. Motorists should watch for arrowboards and barrels to direct traffic. The work is expected to be complete by mid-January 2014.

INDOT reminds drivers to use caution and consider worker safety when driving through a construction zone. For the latest news and information about INDOT, visit www.in.gov/indot.
