Judge Felts receives presidential citation at ISBA Annual Meeting

(November 8, 2013) Indianapolis, Indiana – Hon. Thomas J. Felts’ exceptional contributions to the profession of law and the citizens of Indiana were recognized at the Indiana State Bar Association’s annual meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 16, where he received a presidential citation from Daniel B. Vinovich, outgoing president of the ISBA.

Judge Felts, Fort Wayne, is judge of the Allen Circuit Court. Previously, he served as a magistrate for the court and was an associate, then partner at the firm Burt Blee Dixon Sutton & Bloom. Judge Felts received his B.A. from the University of Notre Dame in 1976 and his J.D. from the I.U. Maurer School of Law in 1979. He is a member of the Allen County and Indiana State (member, board of governors, 2011-13) bar associations.

Judge Felts currently serves as a member of the board of directors for the Allen County Courthouse Preservation Trust, Indiana Judges Association, Allen County Community Corrections, Foellinger Foundation and the Indiana Judicial Conference. He is also a member of the Indiana Commission on Courts.
