TinCaps Announce Roster Moves: August 23
(August 23, 2013) – The Fort Wayne TinCaps, in conjunction with the San Diego Padres, announced the following roster moves today:
RHP Jorge Guzman placed on disabled list. Guzman has a 2.86 ERA in 28.1 innings pitched with the TinCaps this season.
RHP Josh Richardson transferred from Short-Season-A Eugene. Richardson was selected by the Padres in the 26th round of the 2013 MLB First-Year Player’s Draft out of Liberty University. He had a 2.43 ERA in 33.1 innings pitched for the Emeralds, while striking out 30 batters.
The Fort Wayne roster stands at the Midwest League limit of 25 players.
