Traffic Advisory: Color Me Rad 5K on Saturday, August 24th
(August 21, 2013) – The Allen County War Memorial Coliseum would like to issue a traffic advisory for roadways around the complex, as well as, for participants in the Color Me Rad 5K event taking place on Saturday, August 24.
With over 8,000 participants expected to attend, Color Me Rad and Memorial Coliseum officials request that runners and volunteers carpool, if at all possible, to help with lot capacity. The first wave of runners will depart the Memorial Coliseum parking lot at 8:00 a.m. The final wave of runners will depart at 8:40 a.m. The regular entrances to the Memorial Coliseum parking lot will be available.
Spy Run Avenue between Clinton Street and Parnell Avenue will be closed at 6:00am, through the end of the run. Parnell Avenue between St. Joe River Drive and Ridgewood Drive will be closed at around 7:30 a.m. through the end of the run. Parking will be $4.00 per vehicle in the Memorial Coliseum’s general parking lot.
