Pedestrian Struck
Date: Monday, August 19, 2013
Time: 6:30 a.m.
Location: 2202 Fairfield Avenue, Las Lomas Mexican Grill
Victim: Hispanic Adult/Male (No Positive Identification Made), Critical Condition
Details: The Fort Wayne Police responded to a 911-call reporting a subject down in the south parking lot of the Las Lomas Mexican Grill at approximately 6:30 a.m. this morning. Once on scene officers were directed to the south parking lot by a passerby who discovered the victim. He was transported to a local hospital where his condition was determined to be critical.
Investigators believe that the male was the victim of a hit-skip motor vehicle accident which took place in the parking lot. Anyone with information concerning this incident is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers at 436-STOP.
This incident remains under investigation by the FACT Team and the Allen County Prosecutor’s office.
