Lutheran Hospital’s 24th annual NICU reunion

News release from Lutheran Hospital:

Lutheran Hospital’s 24th Annual NICU Reunion Sending Graduates and Caregivers “Over the Top”

(August 1, 2013) – Preparations are underway for graduates from the neonatal intensive care unit at Lutheran to enjoy fun and games this weekend at the hospital’s 24th annual NICU reunion. Former patients and their immediate families have been invited to celebrate and reconnect with caregivers and other graduates Saturday, Aug. 3, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Lutheran Hospital’s cafeteria and courtyard on the lower level.

Organizers of the annual party have traditionally welcomed more than 500 guests. This year’s big top circus theme features activities such as moonwalks, kiddie games, door prizes, T-shirts, a light lunch and ice cream.

The reunion provides an opportunity for nurses, physicians and families to reunite and to see the progress of children who were at one time in need of the critical care available through the NICU.

Everyone is asked to use the south parking garage and enter at door 3. Guests are being routed down the medical office building elevators to the lower level and taking a long hallway to the special function rooms in the cafeteria.

The event will occur rain or shine.
