Missionary Church to Hold 2013 National Conference at Grand Wayne Convention Center

(July 16, 2013) – The 2013 Missionary Church National Conference will be held at the Grand Wayne Convention Center in Fort Wayne this week. The national headquarters of the Missionary Church is located in Fort Wayne on Vanguard Drive.

Over four days, an estimated 750 Missionary Church members from across the United States will conduct business, participate in educational workshops and listen to several nationally-renowned speakers, including Alan Hirsch, Don Cousins, Steve Moore and Alan VanderGriend. The group will also elect a new president while in Fort Wayne.

On July 17-18, an additional 250 local area people from various denominations will attend the educational workshops and plenary sessions.

On July 18, Francis Chan, author of numerous best sellers, most notably for “Crazy Love” will speak in several sessions throughout the day and closing ceremonies at 7:00 p.m.

The group returns to Fort Wayne for a second time in history (1997), bringing in an estimated $690,000 of new spending into our community.
