Children’s Choir Announces Additional Open Enrollment Date
“Do You Have a Song Inside of You?”

(July 12, 2013) – The Fort Wayne Children’s Choir is proud to invite youth ages 8-18 to examine whether they have a song inside of them and participate in our open enrollment placement hearings. Placements are open to any young singer interested in pursuing their love for singing and passion for choral excellence.

The Fort Wayne Children’s Choir is embarking on its 41st season – and annually serves approximately 250 singers from 86 schools throughout the region. The Fort Wayne Children’s Choir sings at season concerts, community festivals, civic events and collaborates with many other arts organizations.

The Fort Wayne Children’s Choir has eight ensembles with singers ranging in ages and skill. Choirs rehearse in Fort Wayne at IPFW, as well as two community choirs which meet in Whitley County, Indiana and DeKalb County, Indiana. Singers can be a part of a placement hearing at any site, and will be placed in the choir that best suits their needs and skill.

An additional placement session has been added!

  • Monday, July 22, 2013: 5:30pm and 6pm, IPFW Rhinehart Music Center
