TinCaps Announce Roster Moves: July 17th
The Fort Wayne TinCaps, in conjunction with the San Diego Padres, announced the following roster moves today:
Infielder Gabriel Quintana reinstated from the disabled list. Quintana, 20, had been on the disabled list since May 29. In 44 games in a TinCaps uniform, he is hitting .307 with five home runs and 27 runs batted in. His five home runs are tied for second-most on the team. Quintana is scheduled to start at third and bat fifth in tonight’s TinCaps lineup.
Pitcher Ruben Mejia placed on the disabled list. Mejia, 21, goes to the disabled list for the second time this season after being injured from May 25 to June 23rd. In 16 games this season (five starts) Mejia is 2-5 with a 3.75 ERA
The TinCaps roster stands at the Midwest League Limit of 25 players.
