At 24-16, the TinCaps entered the week in the playoff hunt, trailing the Bowling Green Hot Rods by two games for first place in the Eastern Division and a half game behind the South Bend Silver Hawks for a wild card spot.
Fort Wayne boasts the best home winning percentage in the Eastern Division (14-6, .737).
The TinCaps sport the second-best team ERA and fourth-best batting average in the Midwest League.
