Playground Safety Seminar
Tuesday, May 21, 6 – 7 pm(May 13, 2013) – The Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Department invites Neighborhood Associations and individuals to attend a FREE 1-hour workshop with experts to learn how to make private and community playgrounds safer. The seminar will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 6 – 7 pm at the Psi Ote Lower Pavilion in Northside Park. Participating in this workshop will give you the tools to help make play safe and fun for children.
The Seminar will cover the basics on:
- How to audit playground equipment
- How much adult supervision is needed
- Whether or not liability insurance is needed
After a brief presentation, the workshop will move to Northside Playground for a demonstration of safety features. For additional information, call the Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Department at 260-427-6000.
