Family Fun Day in the Park is Saturday, May 4, 9:30 am – 3 pm. Enjoy outdoor games, hands-on crafts, inflatables, as well as llamas and other animals to pet. Family Fun Day will also include the following activities:

  • The Children’s Gently Used Book Swap & Sale is a great way to stock up on summer reading material. Books start at 25 cents and most are less than $1. Toddlers through teens may swap up to 5 books while purchasing is unlimited. Contributions of new and gently used children’s and young adult books are now being accepted at the Community Center (233 W. Main Street) between 8 am and 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday. Or call 427-6467 for a large quantity pick up or drop off.
  • The Kids’ Toy and Book Sale is 9:30 am – 3 pm. A 6′ table may be rented for $11. Boys and girls, bring the gently used toys and books you no longer want to the Toy and Book Sale where you can sell them and maybe use your earnings to purchase other toys and books being sold that day. You must operate your own sale (with the help of an adult). Call 427-6000 to reserve your space by April 30.
