Memorial Board of Directors:
11th annual Police Officer Memorial Ceremony
We respectfully request your presence at the eleventh annual Police Officer Memorial Ceremony which will be held on Friday, May 10, 2013 beginning at 11:00 AM. The new Law Enforcement/Fire Fighter Memorial, located at 1000 North Wells Street will be the setting for this “Tribute”. Please join family members, city, county, state officials, public safety personnel and the citizens of Fort Wayne and Allen County as we remember the lives and deaths of these heroes.
The Memorial is now home to ten (10) members of Law Enforcement with the addition of Probation Officer Donald R. (Charley) Knepple’s name to the Monument. The Memorial is a beautiful and permanent setting our community has provided, where family members, citizens and visitors alike can reflect on the dedication and courage of these officers and those who continue to serve our communities each day.
