Leadership Fort Wayne now accepting applications for Class of 2014

(April 24, 2013) – Leadership Fort Wayne is seeking members of the Class of 2014 for its Signature Program, a 9-month program (September to May) that brings together leaders in the business, government and nonprofit sectors to enhance their understanding of the community and their capacities to drive positive change through civic engagement and leadership. Applications will be accepted through June 28, 2013.

Since 1983, Leadership Fort Wayne has provided carefully selected leaders, and emerging leaders, with a behind the scenes look at all aspects of the community ranging from the arts and quality of life, to government and economic development. Selected class members will witness panel discussions between leaders of community organizations as they discuss the most pressing issues and opportunities facing the community today, as well as obtain cutting edge skill training from leadership professionals focused on topics that are most relevant in today’s ever changing society. In addition, class members will participate in a class project benefiting the community, a 360-Degree Leadership Assessment, and have the opportunity to serve on a Board of Directors as part of the Leadership Fort Wayne Board Internship Program.

Space in the Class of 2014 is limited to approximately 50 participants.
