Northeast Indiana Chapter of Project Management Institute to Hold Region 2 Meeting in Fort Wayne!

(April 24, 2013) – From April 25-27, the Northeast Indiana Chapter of Project Management Institute will host its Region 2 meeting at the Courtyard by Marriott in downtown Fort Wayne.

The Northeast Indiana Chapter is a part of PMI’s North Central North American Region 2, which is comprised of seven states and 2 provinces. Region 2 hosts bi-yearly gatherings across the continent and Fort Wayne was selected to host the 2013 spring meeting.

The meeting’s highlight is featured speaker Bob Taylor, President and CEO of Do it Best, who will present a talk on “Volunteerism and Volunteer Management” on Friday, April 26 at 8:30 a.m. He will be introduced by Allen County Commissioner, Therese Brown and PMI Manager of Chapter Development, Rocco Rinaldi.

Over three days, an estimated 75 project managers will participate in several networking opportunities and exchanging new information on improving project management operations and increasing membership value. On April 27, the group will hit the links and play in a golf outing at Cherry Hill Golf Club.
