Lane Restrictions on US 24 Scheduled to Begin Monday, April 15
Restrictions due to installation of sensors in roadway

(April 12, 2013) – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces that on Monday, April 15, weather permitting, lane restrictions will begin on US 24 near Woodburn to complete installation of sensors in the roadway.

On Monday, April 15, the eastbound and westbound LEFT lanes of US 24 are scheduled for restriction approximately ½ mile east of SR 101. On Tuesday, April 16, the eastbound and westbound RIGHT lanes of US 24 are scheduled for restriction in the same location. Then on Wednesday, April 17, the eastbound and westbound LEFT lanes on US 24 will be restricted again in this location. All restrictions will be from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. daily.

Motorists should be aware of arrowboards and barrels directing traffic, as well as merging construction traffic and slow-moving equipment. All work is weather permitting. Work is expected to be complete by 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 17.
