Science-Related Careers Highlight 3rd Annual CTE/STEM Expo
(April 10, 2013) – Students of all ages and in all grades, including those who are already taking college classes, can learn what their futures could be at the Third Annual CTE/STEM Expo, Tuesday, April 16, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Walb Student Union Ballroom at Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW).
The Expo lets students explore the ways in which studying Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) can lead to successful careers. The Departments of Nursing, Dental Education, Engineering, and Physics will host demonstrations in their respective areas and will hold tours in their respective buildings.
Besides the academic booths, there will also be representatives from businesses such as Parkview Health that hire CTE/STEM majors.
The Expo is free and open to the public; however, any students who want to attend must R.S.V.P. to dmaservices@ipfw.edu or call 260-481-6608.
