Please join the Urban League and other community partners for the second in a series of community meetings to address the urgent problem of gun violence in our community. The meeting will be held April 12 at 6 PM at Prime Time Center, 3701 S Calhoun St, Fort Wayne, IN 46807.
The goal of these meetings is to conduct a systemic community review in order to present community leaders with a comprehensive action plan. Task force teams will evaluate community data, conditions, existing programs and make recommendations for the action plan. These recommendations will then be given to local elected officials, religious leaders and other community leaders for action. This is an opportunity for everyone in the community to have a voice and be part of meaningful action.
Please invite others. More than 300 people attended the first conversation, it is important that we continue to move forward as a community to address gun violence.
