Ft. Wayne Farmers Market to Offer Additional Vendors and to Partially Expand Outdoors
April 6th Set For Next Market Day at Parkview Field

(April 3, 2013) – Ft. Wayne’s Farmers Market (FWFM) is growing! Close to 60 vendors will be in attendance at the April market, some located within the Lincoln Financial Event Center and some along the concourse. “With the hopes for great weather on Saturday, we are pleased to offer an opportunity for even more vendors to participate in April’s market,” said Leigh Rowan, Market Coordinator. “Customers will be able to enjoy an even greater selection of local and regional produce, food items, natural products and crafts. And hopefully, we will have a beautiful spring day.”

New vendors joining the market in April include: Lori Courtney Crafting, Fishburn Farm, Simply Swan, Lehman’s Orchard, Old World Fudge, Barry Bley, Atlas Woodworking, N’ Spare Time and Vanilla Bean. April’s market will also see some other vendors return including: Tanglewood Berry Farms, Blue Lion Coffee, Threaded City, Olive Twist, North Coast Organics, Tonne Winery, Chameleon and Dos Homos, FWFM is proud to offer organic produce and food as well as several selections for those with special dietary needs or restrictions including vegetarian, vegan, paleo, sugar-free and gluten-free.

FWFM will be celebrating Earth Day on April 6th with a seed swap table as well as representatives from the Save Maumee Project. Pet Food Pantry will also be on hand to accept pet food donations. Some local food trucks will also be present for customers to enjoy.
Parking is available in the attached parking garage as well as plenty of free parking on the street and in the Parkview Field surface parking lots. An ATM machine will also be available for the convenience of shoppers.
