Lane Restrictions on US 24 Scheduled to Begin Tuesday, April 2
Restrictions due to replacement of sensors in roadway

(April 1, 2013) – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces that on Tuesday, April 2, and Wednesday, April 3, weather permitting, the eastbound lanes of US 24 are scheduled for intermittent restriction approximately ½ mile east of SR 101. INDOT will be replacing sensors in the roadway. The work will take place in the eastbound right lane from approximately 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2, and in the eastbound left lane lane from approximately 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m on Wednesday, April 3.

Motorists should be aware of arrowboards and barrels directing traffic, as well as merging construction traffic and slow-moving equipment. All work is weather permitting. Work is expected to be complete by 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3.
