A STRONG LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM CURRENTLY OVER THE SOUTHERN MISSISSIPPI VALLEY WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE NORTHEAST THROUGH THE DAY AND THEN CROSS THROUGH THE OHIO VALLEY LATER TONIGHT. SNOW…INITIALLY LIGHT…WILL OVERSPREAD THE AREA FROM SOUTHWEST TO NORTHEAST TODAY AND CONTINUE INTO MONDAY MORNING. THE HEAVIEST SNOWFALL IS EXPECTED DURING THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. STORM TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 4 TO 8 INCHES ARE EXPECTED ALONG AND SOUTH OF A MONTICELLO TO WABASH TO LIMA OHIO LINE. GENERALLY 2 TO 5 INCHES IS EXPECTED NORTH OF THIS LINE WITH LITTLE ACCUMULATION ALONG AND NORTH OF THE TOLL ROAD. WHILE FORECAST CONFIDENCE IS INCREASING…THERE IS STILL SOME LINGERING UNCERTAINTY REGARDING THE NORTHERN EXTENT OF THE HEAVIEST SNOWFALL.
