Timothy Pape Named To Allen County Election Board

Today Allen County Democratic Party Chairman John Court announced that Timothy Pape will replace Andrew Boxberger on the Allen County Election Board effective March 18, 2013.

Pape served as Fort Wayne City Common Council Member (5th District) from 2000-2011. Since 2008, he has been Managing Partner at Carson Boxberger LLP specializing in state and local government and in the area of public law. He graduated from Georgetown University in 1991 and Indiana University Maurer School of Law in 1995. He has served on several areas boards and had been extensively involved in public and community service. Pape states “I look forward to returning to public service in this capacity to further the mission of the Allen County Election Board.”

Pape replaces Andrew Boxberger who served in this capacity since June of 2010 and resigned effective March 18. “Andy was a tremendous asset on the Allen County Election Board’ said Chairman Court “He was a terrific advocate for the voters and approached all matters with a careful, studied manner always making an effort to advance dialogue in a positive manner He has been invaluable in recent important discussions regarding the voter registration office.”. Both Court and Boxberger look forward to Andy’s continued involvement in the Allen County Democratic Party.

The Allen County Election Board is a three member bi-partisan body that oversees election procedures whose mission is to produce accurate and efficient elections with equal access to all.
