A STRONG LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM IS CURRENTLY MOVING ACROSS THE SOUTHERN OHIO VALLEY WITH MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW EXTENDING INTO THE SOUTHERN GREAT LAKES. SNOW CURRENTLY OVER THE AREA WILL CONTINUE TO INCREASE IN INTENSITY AND COVERAGE AS THE EVENING PROGRESSES. SNOWFALL RATES OF AROUND AN INCH PER HOUR WILL BE POSSIBLE BETWEEN 6 PM AND 2 AM TONIGHT. TOTAL ACCUMULATIONS OF 5 TO 7 INCHES ARE STILL EXPECTED IN THE WARNING AREA WITH 2 TO 5 INCHES IN THE ADVISORY AREA. A SLIGHT SHIFT IN THE NORTHWARD EXTENT OF SNOWFALL WILL ALLOW FOR LOWER ACCUMULATIONS IN THE FAR NORTHEAST THOUGH.
