The National Weather Service Northern Indians says that a winter storm Monday into Tuesday could produce the heaviest snowfall of the season outside of lake effect areas.
From the NWS website:
A winter storm system will affect our area on Tuesday and into Tuesday Night. This storm system has the potential to be the heaviest snowfall of the season outside of lake effect areas. There is still significant uncertainty regarding the exact track of the system. This graphic shows the spread of the axis of the heaviest snowfall from 5 forecast models. 4-6 inches of snow is possible, with greater amounts possible where this axis sets up. Keep up to date on any watches, warnings, or advisories that may be issued on our website at www.weather.gov/iwx.
