News release from the YWCA Northeast Indiana:
“At the Heart of Us All”
In honor of Valentine’s Day and The American Heart Association’s “Go Red for Women” movement, the second Diversity Dialogue of the 2013 season will focus on women’s heart health across the races.
In order to spread awareness about the #1 cause of death for women, we will be discussing heart disease with Lynn Gilmore (a past board chair of the American Heart Association) and Mary Pat Leonard (a staff person at the American Heart Association). Personal stories will be shared and attendees will leave with a better understanding of the importance of fighting heart disease in women.
Attendees are also encouraged to wear red in support of the cause.
This and all other dialogues are held on the fourth Wednesday of the month, from 12:00 to 1:30 pm. It will be held at our 1610 Spy Run Avenue office in Fort Wayne.
