Various news releases denoting agency closings for the Martin Luther Jr. Holiday:

News release from the City of Fort Wayne:

City offices closed Monday, Jan. 21st for MLK holiday

The City of Fort Wayne’s offices — including the 311 Call Center, City Utilities, Animal Care and Control administration, Police and Fire Department administrations and the Parks and Recreation Department administration and youth centers — will be closed Monday, Jan. 21, 2013 in honor of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

Garbage and recycling collection will operate on its normal schedule.

The City’s parking meters will be free Monday.

The City will resume regular business hours on Tuesday, Jan. 22.

 

News release from the Allen County Board of Commissioners:

Due to the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day holiday, all Allen County offices will be closed on Monday, January 21. County offices will reopen for business on Tuesday, January 22.

Community Harvest Closed for MLK Holiday

Community Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Indiana will be closed Monday, January 21, for the Martin Luther King holiday. This includes all Farm Wagon distributions.

CANI (Community Action of Northeast Indiana) will be closed Jan. 21 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The agency will resume services on Jan. 22.
