Downtown Santa Sightings Contest
Winner to Light the Iconic Santa & Reindeer, Starting November 12Location: Five Undisclosed Locations in Downtown Fort Wayne Â
Has lighting the Santa and Reindeer display always been on your holiday wish list? The Downtown Improvement District, PNC Bank and MAJIC 95.1 want to make that wish come true!
Beginning at 9AM on Monday, November 12 these community partners will launch a brand new holiday contest leading up to Thanksgiving Eve’s “Night of Lights” celebration. The contest works like a scavenger hunt. Contestants must locate a mini scale replica of the famous Santa and Reindeer display at a different downtown business every day the week of November 12-16. Clues leading to Santa’s location will be announced daily on the Downtown Improvement District’s Facebook page and on Magic 95.1. One lucky winner will get the chance to light the GIANT Santa and Reindeer display at PNC Bank on the “Night of Lights” with three of their friends and/or family.
How To Win: Catch contest clues on the DID’s Facebook page and on Majic 95.1 and hunt down the mini Santa display downtown daily. Snap a picture of yourself with the display and email that photo to Stephen@downtownfortwayne.com (be sure to include “Downtown Santa Sighting” in the subject line). Your photo with the mini Santa display enters you into the grand prize drawing to become the lucky winner who will light the BIG Santa & reindeer on the night before Thanksgiving. The more days you find and photograph yourself with Santa, the more times you’re entered to WIN! Entries are limited to one photo per person per day (Maximum of 5 total entries).
