Long term lease agreement with Vibra enhances care options at Parkview Hospital Randallia

(October 1, 2012) — Parkview Hospital and Vibra Hospital of Fort Wayne today announced the signing of a long term lease agreement for Vibra to move its Long Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) to the Parkview Hospital Randallia campus.

Vibra Hospital is currently located at 2626 Fairfield Ave. with plans to immediately begin the necessary construction and renovation process prior to relocating its services to Parkview Hospital Randallia. The 24-bed Vibra LTACH will occupy approximately 17,200 square feet on the 2nd and 5th floors within Parkview Hospital Randallia. With completion of the construction and renovation an anticipated opening date is scheduled for December 2012.

Vibra Hospital provides a wide spectrum of highly specialized programs and services focused on improving the lives of patients who require extended complex acute medical care including comprehensive pulmonary care, ventilator management and weaning, advanced wound care and comprehensive coordinated care management for patients with medically complex conditions.
