Reminder: Residents urged to have curbside debris ready for pick up tomorrow
City crews continue clean up, make a second pass starting Aug. 1
As a convenience to help residents who were not able to get their branches and tree debris to the curb for the city’s initial pass through their neighborhood, City clean up crews will do a second pick up, starting tomorrow. Residents are asked to have all brush, tree limbs and branches on the curb by Wednesday, Aug. 1.
Immediately after the June 29th storm, Mayor Tom Henry instructed City crews to begin the curbside debris collection to better facilitate clean up. Curbside pickup is not part of regular residential garbage pick-up. Debris should be placed along the curbs, but not in the streets or in alleys.
