News release from the Fort Wayne Fire Department:
House fire at 4102 Tacoma Ave.
Crews from the Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to a reported house fire,on arrival heavy smoke and fire were found coming from the first floor extending exterior to second floor. Fire was quickly extinguished with major overhaul needed to search void spaces. Occupant stated that they were downstairs when one of the adults went upstairs and found smoke in the interior. The occupants self evacuated and no one was injured.
