Shooting Investigation
Incident Date: 07/31/2012
Incident Time: 6:16 AM
Incident Location: 1800 Broadway Street
Victims: Adult Male / Critical Condition
On Tuesday, 07/31/2012, at approximately 6:16 AM, the City of Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the 1800 block of Broadway Street reference an unconscious male subject. Officers arrived on scene and discovered the male victim appeared to be suffering from an apparent gunshot wound(s).
Paramedics transported the victim to a local hospital in serious condition. The victim’s condition was downgraded to critical condition by a physician at the hospital.
Detectives are currently interviewing witnesses on the scene. No arrests have been made and there are no suspects at this time.
This incident remains under investigation by the City of Fort Wayne Police Department and the Allen County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
