An excessive heat warning remains in effect into early this evening. Peak afternoon heat index readings of 105 to 115 can be expected today.
There is a chance for isolated to scattered thunderstorms this afternoon into early this evening…mainly along and East of Interstate 69 in Northeast Indiana and Northwest Ohio. Thunderstorms will have the potential to produce isolated wind gusts in excess of 50 mph.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
