Update from Indiana Michigan Power:
I&M restoration update
Power restoration in Allen County from the June 29 storm was about 99% complete when another storm moved through around 8 p.m. on July 5 causing additional interruptions in the area.
I&M estimates that as many as 10,000 customers experienced an interruption in service as a result of the most recent storm.
As of 3 p.m. Friday, July 6, I&M estimates that an overall total of 3,600 customers are awaiting restoration of electric service.
I&M estimates that it could be late Sunday night before the restoration from both storms is complete.
