The temperature has hit 106 degrees.
WANE-15 weatherman Greg Shoup posted some historical records on his WANE Blog this morning. You may read the post here.
Shoup reports that the highest temperature ever recorded in Fort Wayne was 106 degrees. In fact, it was reached on two separate days, on July 14, 1936 and July 22, 1934.
We’ve still another hour or two of the hottest part of the day, so we might break our record today. Keep an eye on the thermometer.
