Local Millennials Spark Change
Millennials Voice Change They Want to See in Northeast Indiana at “M2020 Spark Tank”

(June 21, 2012) – Hey Millennials, do you have innovative ideas? The region is listening.

Millennials from across the region are invited to bring their ideas on how to change the story of Northeast Indiana to a new event called M2020 Spark Tank on Friday, July 27. Spark Tank is an opportunity for Millennials (15-25) to pitch their ideas for sparking change in the region to their peers and regional leaders. At the end of the day, the top ideas–as voted on by a panel of Millennials and regional leaders–will be chosen to receive up to $500 in seed funding.

Don’t have an idea? No problem. Come listen to the great ideas being presented, offer feedback, network with regional leaders and collaborate to create the change you want to see happen in your hometown.

Results of surveys collected from thousands of Millennials from across Northeast Indiana also will be unveiled at M2020 Spark Tank, which includes data summarizing Millennial opinion on the region’s assets, greatest challenges and ideas for changing Northeast Indiana’s story. This information will be used to spark ideas that will be incorporated into projects throughout the day.

And as added incentives…

Several prize packages will be given away throughout the day including two sets of Colts preseason tickets!
First 100 attendees through the door will receive tickets to the TinCaps game that night!
