Critical Injury Accident
Date/Time of Incident: June 23, 2012 / 10:58 a.m.
Location of Incident : Hillegas Road and Goshen Road
Victims: Adult Male – Serious Condition and Adult Female – Critical Condition
Officers of the Fort Wayne Police Department were dispatched to the intersection of Hillegas Road and Goshen Road in reference to a personal injury accident. This crash involved a pick up truck and a motorcyle. The adult driver of the pick up truck was not injured. The driver of the motorcyle was injured and transported to a local hospital in serious condition. The passenger of the motorcyle, an adult female, was injured and transported to a local hospital in critical condition. The names of the victim’s are being withheld pending family notification. It is not known if either the driver or passenger of the motorcyle was wearing a helmet.
This incident remains under investigation by members of the Fort Wayne Police Department FACT Team.
