In 2011, the National Human Trafficking Resource Center (NHTRC) received 19,427 calls; 127 from Indiana, and 6 from Fort Wayne (a 50% increase from last year). Sex and labor trafficking is a global problem that has reached Northeast Indiana.

Together, we will look at:

• How to identify potential human trafficking
• Who are traffickers
• Who are the potential victims of human trafficking
• How technology plays a role

The goal of this dialogue is to bring awareness to growing prevalence of Human Trafficking in our community. Participants will engage in discussion of concerns, experiences, and how we as individuals and our community should respond.

YWCA Northeast Indiana Diversity Dialogues are always open to the public. Free parking is available.
