Hundreds of job seekers attend Stutzman’s job fair

News release from Congressman Marlin Stutzman:

Hundreds of Job Seekers Attend Stutzman’s Job Fair

Hoosiers connect with businesses seeking to fill over 600 positions

(June 13, 2012) – Today, Congressman Marlin Stutzman (IN-03) welcomed hundreds of job seekers to a job fair he hosted with Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW).

“Too often, Washington loses touch with the families struggling in the real economy. Whether it’s in Congress or here at home, I’m focused on encouraging job creation and promoting economic growth,” said Stutzman. “I’m determined to do everything I can to help Hoosiers find jobs. That’s why we organized this job fair to help connect job seekers with employers who are hiring right now. I was encouraged to speak with determined job seekers and enthusiastic employers.”

The job fair offered Hoosiers an opportunity to interview with employers from across Indiana. Participating businesses sought to fill openings for over 638 positions. During the afternoon, more than 800 job seekers attended the fair.

A complete list of participating businesses can be found here.
