FWCS Celebrates Graduates

Fort Wayne Community Schools will celebrate commencement Friday and Saturday for the nearly 1,800 members of the Class of 2012. The students leave their high schools with varied future plans. Some will pursue higher education at colleges such as University of Notre Dame, Oberlin Conservatory of Music, West Point and Indiana University. Others will enter the military or continue working on the technical training they need to start a career in trades such as carpentry or automotive mechanics. Still others will jump right into pursuing their entrepreneurial dreams, focusing on building their own businesses. But before embarking on their new adventures, they will come together one final time for their graduation ceremonies at the Memorial Coliseum.

Commencement ceremonies are held in the Memorial Coliseum at the following times:

[li]Northrop – Saturday, June 16, 10 a.m.[/li]

[li]Snider – Saturday, June 16, 1:30 p.m.[/li]
