The annual Germanfest events begin tonight with a concert at the Auer Performance Hall.
8:00 p.m. – Ein Deutsches Requiem with The Heartland Chamber Chorale and The Heartland Festival Chorus at the Auer Performance Hall in the IPFW Rhinehart Music Center at 2101 E Coliseum Blvd.
A Germanfest concert performance of Johannes Brahms’ Ein Deutsches Requiem (sung in German) and featuring the Heartland Chamber Chorale with the Heartland Festival Chorus. Special guest soloists Denise Ritter (soprano) & Ryan DeRyke (baritone) will also join the Festival Chorus for this fitting kick-off to the 2012 Germanfest celebration.
