Child Abduction with Recovery

Date/Time of Incident: May 31, 2012 / 05:57p.m.
Location of Incident: Boone St. and Osage St.
Victim: Female, age nine

The Fort Wayne Police Department is currently investigating a report of a child abduction that reportedly occurred this afternoon at approximately 05:57pm. The Victim, a nine-year old female, reported that she was riding her bike near the intersection of Boone St. and Osage St, when a blue full size van pulled up next to her and a white male exited. The male subject reportedly grabbed her by her arms and forced her inside his van, and drove her to the 3800 block of Wenonah Ln. where he let the victim go. The victim flagged down a passerby who contacted police. When officers arrived the victim appeared unharmed.

Vehicle Description: Blue to light blue in color full size van, with a sun roof, and tan leather seats.

Suspect Description: Male white, 20 to 30 years of age, blonde or light brown hair in a buzz cut style, clean shaven, muscular, wearing a gray v-neck tank top, dark blue jean shorts, a tattoo featuring a heart with vines and a tattoo featuring a skull with crossed eyes and the word “love” written underneath it.
