Quick Change Scam Targets Two Local Businesses
Investigation Details:
The Allen County Sheriff’s Department is seeking information on two suspects involved in a quick change scam that occurred on 5/19/2012. At approximately 9:00 PM a male black and a female white entered the Subway restaurant at West County Line Road and highway 30. The male black created a distraction while the female asked the cashier for change several different times. The two made off with an undisclosed amount of money. Immediately after leaving Subway the male black entered the Marathon station adjacent to the restaurant and attempted to quick change the cashier. The cashier realized his intentions and the suspect quickly fled the store.
