“County Night Out” in New Haven Tuesday
Event to include reps from County and City governments(April 30, 2012) — The Allen County Board of Commissioners and the City of New Haven will participate in the next “County Night Out” event Tuesday evening.
The event will be held in the police training room of the New Haven City Administration Building, 815 Lincoln Highway East, from 6:30 until 8:00 p.m.
“County Night Out” features an open-house format designed to allow citizens the opportunity to meet the Commissioners and other elected officeholders face-to-face and obtain information about programs and services offered by various County departments. Some of the departments which will be represented at the meeting include the County Sheriff, Highway Department, NIRCC, County Treasurer, Building Department, County Recorder, the Fort Wayne-Allen County Department of Health, County Parks, and the Department of Planning Services.
In addition, New Haven Mayor Terry McDonald and representatives from the city’s Police, Fire, Parks and Recreation, and Public Works departments will be in attendance.For more information about “County Night Out,” contact the Commissioners’ Public Information Office at 449-7671.
