The Northside Neighborhood Association will host a candidate night on September 29, 2011, Thursday.
I attended my first one of these during the primary. I’ve likened it to ‘speed dating with candidates’. It’s a good format with a chance to hear from each of the candidates.
It will be held at North Side High School in the cafeteria. All At-Large candidates for City Council and the 1st and 2nd district as well as mayoral candidates are invited. There is usually a good turn out of candidates and there is time for people to talk individually to any and all candidates.
The doors open at 6:15 pm with the formal speaking to begin at 7:00 pm.
