News release from Parkview Health:

Education Institutions and Parkview Partnering on Life Science Education and Research Consortium

(A copy of the memorandum of understanding was provided with the news release.)

Partners include Fort Wayne Community Schools, Huntington University, Ivy Tech Community College-Northeast, Trine University, and University of Saint Francis.

The Consortium would utilize existing space on Parkview Hospital’s Randallia campus and serve as a regional initiative to align and leverage education, applied research, business incubation and economic development resources focusing on life sciences and health care.

The Consortium is committed to generating a world-class center with a focus on rehabilitation, senior care and behavioral health.

Each education institution is working collaboratively on programs and services that each entity will offer. (Attached is a list of possible programs and services to be offered).
