News release from the City of Fort Wayne:

Water system improvement planned for Wednesday
Some Addresses to Experience Temporary Service Interruption

On Wednesday, September 14, the Fort Wayne Water Department will be installing a valve on a water line near the Westwood Valley North subdivision. To make the work possible, water service to several streets will be shut down from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM.

The following addresses will be without water while the work is being done:
[li]2800 and 2900 blocks of Sanderling Drive[/li]
[li]2700 and 2800 blocks of Lykeway Court[/li]
[li]2700 through 3000 blocks of Spring Creek Drive[/li]
[li]2700 through 3000 blocks of Windrush Drive[/li]
Water service is expected to be restored in the area around 3:00 PM on Wednesday.

The installation of the valve will result in more reliable water service for Westwood Valley North in the future and will allow the water department to better control water flow to the area in case of an emergency such as a water main break.
