Parkview Regional Medical Center receives new patient beds

Hundreds of patient beds have been delivered to Parkview Regional Medical Center.

Members of the media today had the opportunity to see beds being loaded off of trucks and where some of the beds will be placed in the medical center. Parkview will utilize smart bed technology that is unique to the region. This will benefit patients and enhance efficiencies for physicians, nurses and hospital staff. Officials from Hill-Rom were in attendance at today’s event. Hill-Rom is a global medical technology company and a leading medical supplier of hospital beds. Hill-Rom’s corporate office is located in Batesville, Ind. The $536 million project is on schedule to be substantially complete in November with an opening date of March 17, 2012.
