Boardwalk Decking Repair on the Rivergreenway
First section underway August 25th(August 24, 2011) – On Thursday, August 25, R & C Fence will begin replacing boardwalk decking that was damaged by vandalism on a section of the Rivergreenway located between Vesey Avenue and Juliette Avenue on the St. Marys Pathway. Upon completion of this section of decking, R & C Fence will then start to replace boardwalk decking on a section of the Rivergreenway located between Sherman Boulevard and Main Street on the St. Marys Pathway. The boardwalk will be closed from 8 am to 5 pm weekdays while these sections are being repaired, reopening to trail users in the evenings and on weekends.
The boardwalk project is expected to be complete by September 9.
