Children’s Zoo and The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis partner to admit members free

Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo and The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis partner to admit members free August 15 – September 15

(August 11, 2011) – The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis and the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo have teamed up to offer their members a special benefit. Members of either institution can use their Membership to gain free admission to the other facility from August 15 – September 15, 2011.

As two world-class destinations for children and families, The Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo and The Children’s Museum offer unparalleled, enriching family fun. Together, The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis and the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo claim nearly 50,000 families as members.

The two organizations hope the new partnership will encourage their members to discover what each facility has to offer. “The Children’s Museum and the zoo serve similar audiences,” says Zoo Director Jim Anderson. “We hope our members take advantage of this opportunity to visit this amazing facility free of charge.”

The Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo is one of the area’s major attractions, drawing 500,000 visitors every year. The zoo is consistently named one of the country’s “Top Ten Zoos for Kids” by national media outlets.

The Zoo is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily until October 9. Admission is $13 for adults, $8.50 for children age 2-14, and $10.50 for seniors over age 60. Babies age 1 and under and Zoo Society Members are admitted free.
